About Us:

Our small country hotel in the heart of Gößweinstein has 16 rooms, some of which are decorated according to themes. From the hotel it is only a few minutes walk to the Basilica of Gößweinstein and the beautiful view from Gernerfels.

An inn in the house offers you typical Franconian specialties including home-baked cakes and delicious coffee specialties. Shopping opportunities can be found nearby.

The hiking trails around Gößweinstein invite you to go hiking and linger. Mountaineering in the surrounding climbing zones is the Mecca for athletes in the “Franconian Switzerland”.

The hotel and inn were newly leased in 2017 and have been run by the tenant himself ever since. "Bernd" as you all call him here and his team, welcomes you to the typical Franconian country hotel - Gasthof Stern in Gößweinstein

Gößweinstein - Holiday center of Franconian Switzerland - the name has meaning here! You'll see something different: forests and meadows, castles and ruins, mills and caves. An attractive scenic contrast program in a small space. You can also start wonderful motorcycle tours from our beautiful hotel.

There are three types of rooms available to you. The selection of rooms is divided into the following categories: standard double room, superior double room and single room.

On Sundays and public holidays we offer you various roast dishes and Schäuferla.

If you would like Schäuferla on weekdays, we will be happy to prepare it for you by pre-ordering 5 pieces or more.
